Our CEO, Steve Walker, is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, and a member of the Institute of Directors.
Alongside leading investments, Steve acts as a board advisor to UK companies, including international board roles. In these positions, he works directly with directors to support strategic decision-making, improve operational performance, and guide long-term planning.
This board-level involvement provides independent oversight and practical guidance—helping leadership teams cut through noise, focus on what matters, and execute with confidence. Since inception, Sterling Walker Investments has completed over 22 investments across the UK and supported more than 90 businesses in unlocking their potential. Our approach combines strategic direction with practical, hands-on involvement—developing the business while supporting the people behind it.
We take a long-term view. That means building sustainable systems, improving cash flow discipline, strengthening teams, and putting the right structure in place so the business can operate effectively without constant intervention.
